Drywall repair done right disappears. Done wrong, you see the patch from across the room every time the light changes. The difference is feathering, sanding, and matching the existing wall texture exactly.
What we repair
- Doorknob holes, picture-hanger damage, kid impact
- Water-damaged ceilings and walls (after leak is fixed)
- Settlement cracks at corners and over doors
- Popped nails and screw pops
- Bad previous patches that bulge or show through paint
- Texture matching: knockdown, orange peel, smooth, light splatter
- Whole-section drywall replacement after plumbing or electrical work
Our patch process
- Cut a clean square around the damage, find the studs
- Install backing or a California patch on small holes
- Tape and float with three coats, sanding between
- Match texture with the same gun and tip as the original
- Prime the patch — without primer the texture flashes through paint
- Paint with your wall color (we'll color-match from a chip)
Timeline
Most single-room repairs finish in 1–2 days including paint. Whole-ceiling water damage runs 2–4 days. We tarp adjacent areas and vacuum-sand to keep dust out of the rest of the house.
